Allianz Worldwide Care for 2009

Changes have been made effective to Allianz Worldwide Care with effect from the 1st of November 2008. Where applicable these changes apply to existing policy holders from renewal date.

There have been modifications to the names of their Out-patient plans, the word 'individual' has been added, the name of the OP2 Out-patient plan has been changed to Crystal Individual.

Changes to Cover and Benefits:

A new benefit has been  introduced to all Core plans – Palliative and long term care.

There have been increases to benefit limits on the Premier Individual Core Plan, the Club Individual Core Plan and  the Classic Individual Core Plan.

Members on the Essential Individual Core plan now have the option to purchase a Dental Plan with their Core Plan.

There have also been significant enhancements to the Out- patient plans.

Allianz Worldwide Care have taken the decision to take into account the policyholder’s country of residence in their rating structure. Any new applications will now be based on the new rating structure.

Allianz Worldwide Care are now in the position to accept Treatment Guarantee by telephone if you are to be admitted to hospital within 72 hours.
