Performance highlights of the Discovery Funds
Some performance highlights for the Discovery Funds from Discovery Invest up to 30 April 2010:
1. The top performing Discovery Fund was the CROCI South Africa Fund with a performance of
52.09%.
2. 22 from 34 Discovery Escalator and Geared Escalator Funds produced a one-year performance over 15%.
3. The top performing Escalators were the Discovery Escalator – Discovery Equity Fund and the Discovery Geared Escalator – Discovery Equity Fund, with a return of 27.21%.
4. The Discovery Equity Fund produced a one-year performance of 42.96%.
5. The Discovery Balanced Fund produced a one-year performance of 32.30%.
6. The Discovery Flexible Property Fund ranked first in the domestic real estate general sector since December 2007, with the highest year-to-date return of 9.20%.
7. The Discovery Target Retirement 2040 Fund had the highest one-year return of 26.86%, for all Discovery Target Retirement Date Funds.
8. The Discovery Multi Manager Risk Profiled Portfolios all produced positive returns over 15% for one year.
